Titebond Instant Glues
Cyanoacrylates (CA) commonly referred to as Super Glues due their almost instant setting time,
strong adhesion and the variety of materials they will bond. The Titebond Instant range of CA
adhesives covers many different applications; the viscosity and setting times vary according to the
chosen product.
Thin: 5 seconds handling time, 3 second set time, good for running into hairline cracks for repairs
and stabilising small sections of timber.
Medium: 7 seconds handling time, 5 second set time, general-purpose type of CA glue.
Thick: 10 seconds handling time, 8 second set time, ideal for stabilising porous woods and using
with MDF and trimming carpentry components.
Gel: 30 seconds handling time, 20 second set time, has excellent gap filing properties. Its
performance is very good when used with porous materials.
Thin 56.8g(2oz) £12.96 £10.80 210868
Medium 28.4g(1oz) £8.76 £7.30 501306

As the name suggests, glue for use on darker coloured timber.
Titebond glues generally dry to a straw colour, fine for softwood,
ash, sycamore and the like, but perhaps not desirable for
darker or dyed wood. The adhesive has all the properties and
advantages of Titebond II, but dries to a dark brown colour.
• Interior or exterior use
• Excellent sandability, unaffected by nishes, Non-toxic
• Open time 5 minutes
• Assembly time 10-15 minutes
Similar in formulation to Original Wood
Glue, this glue gives you the same
reliability combined with a longer
open time for complicated assemblies.
Stiffer and more heat resistant when
fully cured than Titebond III and most
other PVA and aliphatic resins makes
it most suitable for laminations and
interior applications likely to be exposed
to higher than normal temperatures
(kitchens, fire surrounds, etc).
• Interior use
• Open time 15 minutes
• Assembly time 20-25 minutes
• Non-toxic, clean up with water
The thickest, fastest drying glue available, use for porous and
semi-porous materials. Perfect for trim, mouldings and small
components. This is non-drip wood glue, easy to use and
cleans up with a damp cloth before setting. It provides a strong
30-minute initial tack, yet allows for realignment of working
pieces and is non-toxic.
It develops a bond stronger than the wood itself, offers excellent
sandability and is unaffected by finishes.
• Type - Thixotropic PVA
• Interior use only
• Open time 3-5 minutes
• Dries translucent
Specifically formulated for cold press laminating of wood to
solid woods, particleboard, MDF, plywood and other porous
materials. Cold Press for Veneer is an economical alternative to
contact adhesives for bonding veneers to flat surfaces. It offers
a moderate speed of set, a translucent glue line and contains
none of the harmful or corrosive fumes typical of most contact
adhesives. It also prevents bleed-through on open-grained and
un-backed wood veneers.
• Economical alternative to contact cement
• Formulated to minimise “bleed-through”
• Moderate speed of set
• No harmful vapours
Versatile, very strong and reliable for interior and exterior
projects and constructions. In addition to wood, it will also bond
metals, ceramics, most plastics, Corian™, stone and many other
porous/non-porous materials. A good choice when bonding
different materials to each other. During curing it ‘foams’, once
cured, it will not become brittle with age nor will it expand or
contract in the joint. Any squeeze-out is easy to sand off when
dry. Polyurethane glue is a very persistent adhesive, difficult
to clean up particularly from hands, we recommend using
disposable gloves.
• Suitable for porous and non-porous materials
• Initial tack time 30 minutes
• Setting time 4 hours approximately
• 100% waterproof (Passes ANSI Type I & II water-resistance
testing)
• Epoxy-like strength - no mixing
The glue that began the Titebond story in 1935 and still going
strong. Titebond Liquid Hide Glue is hide glue in a liquid,
ready-to-use form. It requires no mixing, heating or stirring.
Titebond Liquid Hide provides superior creep-resistance, offers
excellent sandability and is unaffected by finishes. The fact
that it is reversible allowing for the disassembly of parts is a
crucial benefit in antique restoration or the repair of musical
instruments.
• Type - Natural Protein Emulsion
• Suitable for wood and cloth
• Suitable for interior use only
• Recommended for antique restoration
