Lamello Biscuit Jointers
From the inventors comes the ultimate biscuit jointing machine. The TOP21 is the industry
standard. This machine gives you perfect alignment first time, every time.
Precise in every way, it is very easy to set the cutter and fences for exact positioning. The cutter is
height adjustable in 0.1 mm intervals (2mm either side of centre). The rotary depth control has six
preset depth settings. The fences on the TOP21 are flush on the sides for easier positioning. The
main fence pivots between 0°-90°. For quick set-up when making a mitre joint, there are indents
at 22.5°, 45°, 67.5° plus 90°. The square fence gives you great stability and locks with a quick lever.
It also helps when mitring, automatically aligning the machine. The plunge action is extremely
smooth and the blade leaves a very clean cut.
The 800W electronically controlled motor features soft start, constant speed and overload
protection. Further uses for the TOP21 include cutting grooves and expansion gaps as well as to
mill out resin pockets.
The TOP21 opens up the most versatile wood joining system
around. As standard, the TOP21 offers you all Lamello’s standard
fixed or detachable connection options. Additional blades bring
more possibilities. The machine comes with a dust bag, two dust
extraction connectors 23 and 36mm, fence slip on 4mm plate, tool
kit and solid wooden beech storage case.
The Swiss made Lamello Classic X biscuit jointer has a slim body with a ‘D’ handle. These ensure a
comfortable grip and excellent control. The quick depth adjuster combined with CNC machined
fences and the overall build quality guarantee spot-on accuracy. The Classic X allows you to take
full advantage of Lamello’s standard connectors.
Supplied with two fences; the main fence pivots between 0° to 90°, with indents at 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°
and 90° for quick set up. An additional square fence ts onto either the main fence or the base of
the machine, giving greater stability when working vertically. The
square fence also allows variable height positioning and forms a
very secure platform for narrow edge work. The scales for both the
angle and height adjustment are very clear with the baseplate’s
centre line permanently embossed for clarity.
Each jointer includes: TCT blade, 36mm suction stub; square fence,
4mm slip on plate, tool set and manual. The Classic X is available
with or without a Systainer case.

Classic X Biscuit Jointer
In 1956, Hermann Steiner of Liestal, Switzerland invented the biscuit joining system. In 1968 the first portable biscuit jointer appeared. Still based in
Switzerland, the company he founded, Lamello, continue to develop biscuit jointers and jointing connectors. Lamello are the originators and acknowledged as
the experts in biscuit jointing technology. The Company dedicates itself to precision and innovation.
The success of the biscuit jointing system lies in its simplicity, accuracy and speed. The basis is a 100mm diameter saw blade, used to plunge-cut slots on each side of a joint. The blade has a 4mm kerf,
matching the thickness of the biscuits. Marking out only requires a pencil line across the joint where you wish to place the biscuits. All you need do is line-up the machine’s reference marks with your
pencil lines. Then push the body of the jointer forward against the baseplate and cut a slot. Repeat the process at each mark, add glue and pop a biscuit into each slot on one side. Bring the joint together
and clamp until the glue is dry, it is that simple. The biscuit joiner is easy to use, it requires neither extreme accuracy nor complicated jigs to achieve perfect joints. Working off the face side guarantees a
flush joint every time. A biscuit joint is strong, hidden, versatile and a practical solution. In addition to the standard beech biscuit, Lamello offer many other different connectors that fit the 4mm slot.

Self-aligning, quick to connect or disconnect Clamex is a clever solution. Without the need for glue
and with only a small 6mm hole visible Clamex makes a rock solid joint. Clamex can be connected
and reconnected repeatedly without noticeable wear.
Furniture makers, interior fitters, shop and exhibition fitters will all benefit from using Clamex. On site,
there is minimal assembly time with full prefabrication possible. All parts are stackable, as Clamex has
no protruding parts.
It is as easy and efficient to install as normal biscuit jointing. There are no additional positioning
parts such as dowels or tongues. Clamex connectors are fibreglass-reinforced plastic with a zinc die
cast alloy lever.
