The Tormek T-7 is unmatched for precision and stability and a
fi rst choice among amateurs and professionals alike. With this
machine you get access to the full Tormek jig system, even the
larger jigs SVH-320 for jointer/planer blades and SVP-80 for
moulding knives.
The powerful industrial AC motor guarantees maintenance free
operation. It maintains RPM even under heavy load, which is
needed when shaping larger tools. Thanks to the unique Tormek
gear system with a self adjusting force control, the system never
uses higher force than needed to ensure long life.
The 250mm Tormek Original Grindstone is developed to combine
effi cient steel removal, smooth surface fi nish and long life. Tools
can be sharpened either with the stone cutting towards the edge
or by using the XB-100 support base, grinding away from the
edge (preferable in some cases, especially with carving tools).
Universal support with micro-adjust which makes setting up or
replicating a sharpening angle both easy and highly accurate.
This machine has a steady steel housing with
heavy duty ED coating, which gives the strongest
corrosion protection there is (the same is used
for heavy vehicle chassis), meeting ELV and RoHS
directives.
The elegant Tormek stainless steel EzyLock
mounting enables stone changes without a
spanner. The main shaft and hardware are also in
stainless steel. Other features include and advanced
water trough with magnets and removable chute,
safety NVR switch and handle for easy carrying.
The T-7 package includes the patented SE-76
Square Edge Jig and all you need to keep the
stone in perfect condition: the TT-50 Truing Tool and SP650
Stone Grader. Also included are the WM-200 Angle Master,
PA-70 Honing Compound, Tormek Handbook and DVD – are
all packed in a permanent storage box. This machine is truly

upper, fl at side which ensures a 90°
angle towards the stone.

Tormek design makes it easy to
mount the tool straight in the
jig. Safety stops prevent the tool
from slipping off the stone.
Max tool width 76mm (3”), max tool thickness 9mm (3/8”).
Use approx 90 seconds across the
stone. If you feed faster, you can
create a rougher surface which
grinds more quickly.
A cluster of genuine diamonds is mounted in a holder and used to
dress or open the grindstone when the stone becomes grooved
or uneven. It takes only a few seconds to set up and can really
improve the performance of the wheel. The patented Tormek
design with dual knob screw feed makes it easy to get a controlled
feed across the stone for a perfect fl at surface. The cutting depth is
controlled by the Micro Adjust on the Universal Support.
