THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING A XLER. The Axler CS-CF-30LW Camera Slider is a lightweight and portable solution for capturing tracking shots and push-ins that can add artistic and cinematic elements to your video productions. With 19 mm carbon fiber rails that support up to 18 pounds, this slider is capable of accommodating DSLR cameras, camcorders, and mirrorless cameras. Six wheels assure quiet and smooth tracking along the rails for fluid camera motion that a microphone won’t pick up.
Note: It is recommended to use the center 3/8-inch socket for the greatest balance and stability. If your tripod has a 1/4-inch mounting post, use a 1/4- to 3/8-inch bushing adapter (available separately) to attach the slider. 3. Using the bubble level on the camera base as a guide, adjust the tripod legs to align the slider with the horizon. MOUNTING ON T WO TRIPODS 1. Align the tripods’ threaded posts with the corresponding 1/4- or 3/8inch sockets on each end of the slider. 2.
2. Attach the camera to the tripod head. Important! DO NOT MOUNT THE TRIPOD HEAD WITH THE CAMERA ATTACHED! Mount the camera only once the tripod head is secure on the camera platform. USING THE SLIDER Once your camera is mounted, loosen the brake, and manually move your camera along the slider. If the slider is positioned at an incline, keep one hand on the camera base before loosening the brake. ADJUSTING THE ROLLER TENSION The two interior rollers are preset to the ideal tension.
