Example for Setting an Output
The following shows how to set Output 1 to measure mass flow with 4 mA = 0 lb/hr and 20 mA = 100 lb/hr with
a time constant of 5 seconds. (All outputs are disabled while using the Setup Menus.)
First, set the desired units of measurement:
1. Use  keys to move to the Units Menu (see page 3-12).
2. Press key until Mass Flow Unit appears. Press ENTER.
3. Press key until lb appears in the numerator. Press key to move the underline cursor to the
denominator. Press the key until hr appears in the denominator. Press
ENTER to select.
4. Press key until Units Menu appears.
Second, set the analog output:
1. Use  keys to move to the Output Menu.
2. Press the key until 4-20 mA Output 1 appears.
3. Press key to access Measure selections. Press
ENTER and press the key to select Mass. Press ENTER.
4. Press key to set the 4 mA point in the units you have selected for mass of lb/hr. Press
ENTER and
use  keys to set 0 or 0.0. Press
ENTER.
5. Press key to set the 20 mA point. Press ENTER and use  keys to set 100 or 100.0. Press ENTER.
6. Press key to select the Time Constant. Press ENTER and use  keys to select 5. Press ENTER.
7. Press the
EXIT key and answer YES to permanently save your changes.
