UnderHTTP/RTSPPasswordSettings,selectthetypeofpasswordtoallow.Youmayneedtoallowunencryptedpasswordsifthere
areviewingclientsthatdonotsupportencryption,orifyouupgradedthermwareandexistingclientssupportencryptionbutneed
tologinagainandbeconguredtousethisfunctionality.
UnderUserSettings,selecttheEnableanonymousviewerloginoptiontoallowanonymoususersaccesstotheLiveViewpage.
SelecttheEnableanonymousPTZcontrollogintoallowanonymoususersaccesstothePTZcontrols.
DeselecttheEnableBasicSetupoptiontohidetheBasicSetupmenu.BasicSetupprovidesquickaccesstosettingsthatshouldbe
madebeforeusingtheAxisproduct.

andmanufacturerstotakeadvantageofthepossibilitiesofferedbynetworkvideotechnology.ONVIFenablesinteroperablitybetween
differentvendorproducts,increasedexibility,reducedcostandfuture-proofsystems.
BycreatingauseryouautomaticallyenableONVIFcommunication.UsetheusernameandpasswordwithallONVIFcommunication

allowedordeniedaccesstotheAxisproduct.SelectAlloworDenyfromthelistandclickApplytoenableIPaddressltering.
Theadministratorcanaddupto256IPaddressentriestothelist(asingleentrycancontainmultipleIPaddresses).

HTTPS(HyperTextTransferProtocoloverSecureSocketLayer,orHTTPoverSSL)isawebprotocolprovidingencryptedbrowsing.
