TheAxisproductcanbeconguredtoperformactionswhendifferenteventsoccur,forexample,startarecordingwhenmotionis

detected.ThesetofconditionsthatdeneshowandwhentheactionistriggerediscalledanActionRule.

•Detectors

-LiveStreamAccessed—triggertherulewhenanystreamisaccessedandduringedgestorageplayback.

Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosendnotications.

-MotionDetection—triggertherulewhenmotionisdetected,seeMotionDetection,onpage34.

-Enter/Exit—triggertherulewhenanobjecthasenteredorexitedthearea,seeEnter/ExitDetector,onpage36.

theLiveViewPage,onpage13.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtovalidateactionsduringproductinstallation

andconguration.

-VirtualInputs—canbeusedbyaVMS(VideoManagementSystem)totriggeractions.Virtualinputscan,for

example,beconnectedtobuttonsintheVMSuserinterface.

•PTZ

-Autotracking—triggertherulewhenautotrackingstartsorstops,seeAutotracking,onpage30.

-Error—triggertheruleifthePTZfunctionalityisnotworkingcorrectly.Thiscanforexamplebeusedto

-PresetReached—triggertherulewhenthecamerastopsatapresetposition.Thiscanbeforexamplebeused

withtheSendImagesactiontouploadimagesfromthepresetposition.

-Ready—triggertherulewhenthePTZfunctionalityisreadytobeused.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosteer

thecameratoaspecicpresetpositionwhentheproductisstarted.

•Storage

-Disruption—triggertheruleifstorageproblemsaredetected,forexampleifthestoragedeviceisunavailable,

removed,full,lockedorifotherreadorwriteproblemsoccur.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosendmaintenance

notications.
