ShockDetection

EnableShockDetectionfromtheDetectorsmenu.Shockdetectionisused,forexample,togenerateanalarmiftheproductishit

byanobject.

UsetheShocksensitivityslidertoadjustthesensitivitylevelatwhichtheproductshouldsendanalarmuponbeinghit.Low

sensitivityvalueimpliesthattheproductwillgenerateanalarmonlyifthehitispowerful.

MotionDetection

Motiondetectionisusedtogenerateanalarmwhenevermovementstartsorstopsinthecameraview.

Motiondetectionisconguredbydeningupto10IncludeandExcludewindows:

•Includewindows—deneareaswheremotionshouldbedetected

•Excludewindows—deneareaswithinanIncludewindowthatshouldbeignored(areasoutsideIncludewindows

areautomaticallyignored).

Tocontrolthenumberofmotiondetectionalarms,theparametersObjectSize,HistoryandSensitivitycanbeadjusted.See

MotionDetectionParameters,onpage35.

Oncemotiondetectionwindowsarecongured,theAxisproductcanbeconguredtoperformactionswhenmotionisdetected.

Note

•Usingthemotiondetectionfeaturemaydecreasetheproduct’soverallperformance.

•ThepositionoftheMotionDetectionWindowisrelativetotheorientationoftheCamera.Changingtheorientationofthe

camerawillalsochangethepositionoftheMotionDetectionWindow.

SetUpMotionDetectionWindows

TosetupamotiondetectionIncludeWindow,followtheseinstructions:

1.GotoDetectors>MotionDetection.

2.SelecttheCongureIncludedWindowsoptionandclickNew.Selectthenewwindowinthelistofwindowsand

enteradescriptivename.

3.Adjustthesize(dragthebottomright-handcorner)andtheposition(clickonthetextatthetopanddragtothedesired

position)ofthewindow.
