OSDIZones
On-ScreenDirectionIndicator(OSDI)zonescanbeincludedintheoverlaytext(seeOverlay,onpage23)toaidtheusertonavigate
theAxisproduct.EachOSDIzoneissetupwithcoordinatesandadescriptivename.
OSDIzonesaresetupunderPTZ>OSDIZones.TheAxisproductusesthecoordinatesofthecenteroftheviewtosetthelower
leftandupperrightzoneareas.FirstnavigatetowhereyouwouldlikethelowermostleftpointoftheOSDIzonetobelocated.
ClickGettosetthecoordinates.ProceedtowheretheupperrightpointofzoneshouldbelocatedandclickGet.Givethezonea
descriptivenameandclickOK.
ToincludethenameoftheOSDIzoneintheoverlaytext,gotoVideo<VideoStream<OverlaySettings.ChecktheInclude

Advanced
Limits
Denethepan,tilt,zoomandfocuslimitsfortheAxisproduct.Movementstotheleftandright,upanddown,canberestrictedto
narrowtheareaundersurveillance.
Congurethenearfocuslimittoavoidfocusingonobjectstooclosetothecameralens.
WhenEnableE-ipisselected,asittiltsdownandcontinuestopanbackwards,theAxisproductwillautomaticallycorrecttheview
andipit180degrees.Theleftlimitmustbesetto–180degreesandtherightlimitto180degreesfore-iptowork.
Movespeedsetsthespeedofthecamera’spanandtiltmovements.Thedefaultsettingismaximumspeed.
Whenusingajoystick(oremulatingonewiththemouse)theEnableproportionalspeedsettingcanbeusedtoreducethemaximum
pan/tiltmovementspeed,i.e.thespeedthecameraviewmovesatwhenthejoystickispushedallthewayoutinanydirection.Thisis
usefulthentheviewiszoomedinonanobject.
