Tocreateoreditaprivacymask,gotoSettings>Privacymask.

Howtoreducenoiseinlow-lightconditions

Toreducenoiseinlow-lightconditions,youcanadjustoneormoreofthefollowingsettings:

•Makesurethattheexposuremodeisautomatic.

Note

Increasingthemaxshuttervaluecanresultinmotionblur.

•Theshutterspeedshouldbeasslowaspossible,whichmeansyoushouldsetmaxshuttertothehighestpossiblevalue.

•Reducesharpnessintheimage.

•Tryloweringthemaxgainvalue.

Howtoselectexposuremode

Thereareseveralexposuremodeoptionsinthecamerathatadjustsaperture,shutterspeed,andgaintoimproveimagequalityfor

specicsurveillancescenes.IntheImagetab,selectbetweenthefollowingoptions:

•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.

•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallighting,forexampleuorescentlighting,selectFlicker-free.

Selectthesamefrequencyasthepowerlinefrequency.

•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallightandbrightlight,forexampleoutdoorswithuorescentlightingatnightand

sunduringdaytime,selectFlicker-reduced.

Selectthesamefrequencyasthepowerlinefrequency.

•Tolockthecurrentexposuresettings,selectHoldcurrent.

Howtomaximizedetailsinanimage

Important

Ifyoumaximizedetailsinanimage,bitrateincreasesandmightleadtoreducedframerate.

•Makesuretoselectcapturemodethathasthehighestresolution.

•Setcompressionaslowaspossible.

•SelectMJPEGstreaming.

•TurnofftheZipstreamfunctionality.

Usecorridorformattobetterutilizethefulleldofviewinalongandnarrowarea,forexampleastaircase,hallway,road,ortunnel.
