Extended Emulation Mode
The advanced functions that you can access in the Extended
Emulation Mode are:
• Transparency
• Configuration from the System
• Character Translation
• User Definable Strings
Additional IBM 3812/5219 emulation functions:
• Editable Font Selection Strings
• Customized Printout
• Bar code Printing (optional)
• String Substitutions (optional)
Additional IBM 4214 emulation function:
•Bar Code Printing
• String Substitutions
The functions are programmed, and called, by text sequences inserted
into your documents. The sequences are inserted between enter and
exit commands that control the Extended Emulation Mode, see page
33.
