Exportedrecordingscanbeplayedusing:

•WindowsMediaPlayer

•AXISFilePlayer

AXISFilePlayerisfreesoftwareforvideoandaudioplayback,andisautomaticallyincluded

withtheexportedrecordings.Noinstallationisrequired.Toplayrecordings,openAXIS

FilePlayerandselecttherecordingstoplay.

MechanicalPTZandPTZpresetsarenotavailableifthecamera'scontrolqueueisenabled.

Networkshareisnotaccessible

Tousenetworksharesonothercomputers,theLocalSystemaccountcannotbeusedtologon

toAXISCameraStationService.Tochangetheserviceloginaccount,followtheseinstructions:

1.OpenWindowsControlPanel.

2.FromtheSystem&Securitycategory,selectAdministrativeToolsandthen

Services.

3.Right-clickAXISCameraStationandselectProperties.

4.SelecttheLogOntab.

5.ChangefromLocalSystemaccounttoThisaccount.

6.SelectauserwithaccesstoWindowsActiveDirectory.

Networkshareislistedas

"Unavailable"

ThecomputerthatAXISCameraStationServerisinstalledonshouldbepartofthesame

domainasthesharedfolderthatisenteredasanetworkshare.

RecordingsaredeletedRecordingswillbedeletedafterthenumberofdayssetas"daystokeep".Tochangethe

numberofdays,gotoConguration>RecordingStorage.

Ifthediskbecomesfull,recordingswillbedeletedbeforedesignatedthenumberofdays.If

so,trythefollowing:

•Addmoredisks.SeeCongureRecordingStorage,onpage34.

•ChangetheamountofdiskspacereservedforAXISCameraStation.Congure

RecordingStorage,onpage34.

•Reducethesizeofrecordedlesbymodifyingforexampleresolutionorframe
