Thefollowingactionsareavailable:
RecordTherecordactionstartsarecordingfromtheselectedcamera.Therecordingcanbeaccessedandplayed
fromtheRecordingsworkspace.
TherecordingissavedtothediskspeciedunderConguration>RecordingStorage.
Raisealarm
TheraisealarmactionsendsanalarmtoallconnectedAXISCameraStationClients.Thealarmwillbe
displayedintheAlarmstab(seeAlarmsandTasksTabs,onpage26)andasataskbarnotication.Instructions
informofalewithalarmprocedurescanbeincludedwiththealarm.
Sende-mailThee-mailactionsendsane-mailtooneormultiplerecipients.Snapshotsfromselectedcamerascanbesent
ase-mailattachments.Tobeabletosende-mails,anSMTPservermustrstbecongured,
LiveViewTheliveviewactionopenstheLiveViewworkspacewithaspeciedcamera,vieworpresetposition.TheLive
ViewworkspacewillopeninallconnectedAXISCameraStationClients.
IftheLiveViewworkspaceshowsasplitviewwithahotspot,thecameraselectedintheliveviewaction
willbeloadedinthehotspot.
TheliveviewactioncanalsobeusedtorestoreopenAXISCameraStationClientsfromthetaskbaror
bringtheclientstothefrontofotherapplications.
SetOutput
Theoutputactionsetsthestateofanoutputport.Thisisusedtocontrolthedeviceconnectedtotheoutput
port,forexampletoswitchonalightorlockadoor.
Beforeusingtheoutputaction,anoutputportmustbeaddedtoAXISCameraStation.GotoConguration>

Notication
TheHTTPnoticationactionsendsanHTTPrequesttoacamera,adoorcontrolleroranexternalwebserver.
HTTPnoticationscanforexamplebeusedtoenableordisableafeatureinthecamera,ortoopen,close,lock
orunlockadoorconnectedtoadoorcontroller.
CreateaRule
TheexampledescribedinthischapterdemonstrateshowtouseEventCongurationtocreatearulethatstartsarecording,
raisesanalarmandsendsane-maileachtimeadoorisopened.Thedoorswitchisconnectedtoaninputportofthecamera
monitoringthedoor.
Startbycreatinganewrule:
1.OpentheCongurationmenuandselectEventConguration.
2.ClickNewtoopentheNewRuledialog.
