Parametermanagementisintendedforadvancedusers.

ParametersinAxisnetworkproductsareinternalparametersthatdenedifferentdevicesettings.Formoreinformationabout

parameters,refertotheVAPIX®documentationavailableatwww.axis.com/vapix

UsingAXISCameraStation,parametersfromadevicecanbecollectedinaparameterle.Theparameterlecanthenbeapplied

tootherdevices,forexampletoconguremultipledevicesatthesametimeortorecongureadevicethathasbeenresetto

factorydefault.Parameterlescanbeappliedtodeviceswithadifferentmodelorrmwareevenifsomeparametersdonot

existonallselecteddevices.

AllparameterscannotbeaccessedfromAXISCameraStation.

Tocreateaparameterle,followthesesteps:

1.GototheCameraManagementworkspace.

2.Selectthedevicetocreatetheparameterlefrom.

3.Right-clickandselectParameterManagement>CreateParameterFile.

4.Selecttheparameterstoincludeandmodifyvaluesasrequired.

5.ClickSave.Theparameterleissaveasa.cfgle.

Toapplyaparameterle,followthesesteps:

1.GototheCameraManagementworkspace.

2.Selectthedevicestoapplytheparameterleto.Devicesofdifferentmodelandrmwarecanbeselected.

3.Right-clickandselectParameterManagement>ApplyParameterFile.

4.Browsetothe.cfgleandclickOpen.

5.VerifytheparameterstobeappliedandclickOK.
