Therearetwotypesofactionbuttons:

Commandbuttons-Acommandbuttonisusedtomanuallystartanaction.Usecommandbuttonsforactionsthatdonotrequirea

stopbutton.Examples:Activateanoutputforapredenedtime(useoutputactionwithpulsesettothenumberofsecondsthe

outputshouldbeactive),raiseanalarm,sende-mail.

Togglebuttons-Atogglebuttonisusedtomanuallystartandstopanaction.Thebuttonhastwostates:toggleanduntoggle.

Clickingthebuttonswitchesbetweenthetwostates.Examples:OpenandCloseDoor(useoutputactionwithpulsesetto"as

longasanytriggerisactive").

Tocreateanactionbutton,followthesesteps:

1.FromtheCongurationmenu,selectEventConguration.

2.ClickNewtocreateanewruleandthenclickAddtoaddatrigger.

3.SelectActionButton.

4.SelectCommandbuttonorTogglebuttonandclickNext.

5.Forcommandbuttons,enterabuttonlabelandatooltip.Fortogglebuttons,enteratogglelabel,anuntogglelabelanda

tooltip.Thetooltipwillbedisplayedwhenhoveringthemousepointeroverthebutton.

6.SelecttheCameraorMaptoaddthebuttonto.Clickthelinkstoaddthebuttontomultiplecamerasormaps.

7.Whensatised,clickNexttoreturntotheNewRuledialog.

8.ClickNexttogototheAddActionsstep.ClickAddandselecttheactiontouseforthebutton.

9.ClickNexttogototheSchedulestep.SelectascheduleandthenclickNexttogototheDetailsstep.ClickFinish

tocreatethebuttonsandenabletherule.

Ifacamerahasmultiplebuttons,theorderofthebuttonscanbemodied.ClickArrangewhenaddingthebuttontothecameras.To

arrangebuttonsonamap,gototheLiveViewworkspaceandeditthemap.

Note

Arulecanhavemultipletriggersbutonlyoneactionbuttontrigger.

AddaPTZPresetPosition

APTZpresetisasavedpan,tiltandzoomposition.PresetscanbeselectedinLiveViewandcanbeusedinsequences.

PresetscanbecreatedforcameraswithPTZcamerasandcameraswheredigitalPTZhasbeenenabledinthecamera’sSetup

pages,seeMechanicalPTZ,onpage15.

Toaddapresetposition,followthesesteps:

1.FromtheCongurationmenu,selectPTZSettings.

2.SelectaPTZcameraandclickCongure.

3.ClickinthepreviewwindoworusethePTZcontrolstomovethecameraviewtothedesiredposition.

4.ClickAddandtypeanameforthepreset.

Setuppages.

•ThePresetslistincludespresetpositionsconguredbothinAXISCameraStationandinthecamera.ClickRefresh

toupdatethelist.
