ManualRecording

Torecordmanually:

1.GototheLiveViewworkspace.

2.Hoverthemousepointeroverthecamera'sliveviewframe.

3.ClicktheRECbuttonintheupperrighthandcorner.

4.Ayellowindicatorappearswhilethecameraisrecording.

5.ClickSTOPtostoptherecording.

ManualrecordingcanalsobestartedandstoppedfromtheActionsmenu.

Toconguremanualrecordingsettings,followthesesteps:

1.FromtheCongurationmenu,selectRecordingSettings.

2.SelectoneormorecamerasandclickManual.

3.Tochangesettingssuchasvideoformat,resolution,compressionandframerate,selectaproleorclickChangetocreate

anewprole.SeealsoCongureaMediaProle,onpage42.

4.UsethesliderstosetthePrebufferandPostbuffer,thatis,thenumberofsecondstoincludebeforestarting(prebuffer)

andafterstopping(postbuffer)themanualrecording.

5.Whensatised,clickOK.

FailoverRecordings

AfailoverrecordingstartsautomaticallyiftheconnectionbetweenthecameraandAXISCameraStationislostduringanongoing

recording.Nonewrecordingscanbestartedwhiletheconnectionislost.

FailoverrecordingswillonlyaffectH.264recordingsandcanbeenabledoncameraswithsupportforstorage(SDcard)andrmware

5.20orlater.

Tosetupafailoverrecording,followthesesteps:

1.FromtheCongurationmenu,selectRecordingStorage.

2.UnderCameras,selectthecameraandclickEdit.

3.CheckEnablefailoverrecording.

4.ClickOKtosavesettings.

CongureRecordingStorage

RecordingstorageisconguredwhencamerasareaddedtoAXISCameraStation.Ifrequired,storagesettingsforindividual

camerascanbemodiedandadditionaldiskscanbeadded.
