ContinuousandScheduledRecordings

Acontinuousrecordingsavesimagescontinuously.Thisrequiresmorediskspacethantheotherrecordingoptions.

Toenableordisablecontinuousrecording,ortomodifysettings,followthesesteps:

1.FromtheCongurationmenu,selectRecordingSettings.

2.SelectoneormorecamerasandclickContinuous.Ifselectingseveralcameras,recordingcanbeenabledordisabledand

schedulesettingscanbemodied.Prolesettingscanbemodiedifselectingcamerasofthesamemodel.

3.Toenablecontinuousrecording,selectEnabled.Todisable,clearthebox.

4.Tochangesettingssuchasvideoformat,resolution,compressionandframerate,selectaproleorclickChangetocreate

anewprole.SeealsoCongureaMediaProle,onpage42.

5.Toscheduletherecording,clickCustomscheduleandselectascheduleorcreateanewschedule.

6.Whensatised,clickOK.Ifcontinuousrecordingwasenabled,recordingwillnowstart.Ifcontinuousrecordingwas

disabled,recordingwillstop.

Ifthesizeoftherecordedlesistoolargefortheavailablediskspace,trythefollowing:

•Selectaprolewithlowerresolution,lowerframerateorhighercompression.VideoformatH.264resultsinsmaller

lesthantheotherformats.
