AXISVideoMotionDetection2.1isacameraapplicationthatcanbeinstalledonproductswithsupportforAXISCameraApplication

Platformandrmware5.40.4andlater.

IfmotionrecordingisselectedwhencamerasareaddedtoAXISCameraStation,AXISVideoMotionDetection2.1isinstalled

automaticallyonallcamerasthatsupporttheapplication.Othercameraswillusethebuilt-inmotiondetection.

AXISVideoMotionDetection2.1detectsmovingobjectwithinanareaofinterest.Theareaofinterestisapolygondenedby3

to20points(corners).Ifrequired,anexcludeareacanbeadded.Theexcludeareaisanareawithintheareaofinterestinwhich

movingobjectsareignored.

TocongureAXISVideoMotionDetection2.1,followthesesteps:

1.InEditMotionDetectionRecordingSettings,clickMotionSettingstoopenEditMotionDetection.

2.Theareaofinterestisdisplayedontopofthevideoimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizethearea.

-Toaddanewpoint,clickonthelinebetweentwopoints.

-Toremoveapoint,right-clickonthepointorselectthepointandclickRemovePoint.

3.Optionally,clickAddExcludeAreatoaddanexcludearea.Theexcludeareacanbemovedandresizedinthesame

wayastheareaofinterest.

4.Whensatised,clickApply.

5.Toverifythesettings,createmotioninfrontofthecamera.Thelinewillturnredandashwhenmotionisdetected.
