•InputSignal

-SpeakerTestPerformed–TriggersanactionruleafteranAutoSpeakerTesthasbeenperformed.Itcanbe

usedto,forexample,sendanoticationtoanoperatorwhenaspeakertesthasbeenperformedafterthe

producthasrestarted.

-VirtualInputs–Triggerstheactionrulewhenoneofthevirtualinputschangesstates.Itcanbeusedbya

clientsuchasanaccessmanagementsystem,throughtheVAPIX®applicationprogramminginterface,totrigger

actions.Virtualinputscan,forexample,beconnectedtobuttonsinthemanagementsystem'suserinterface.

•System

-SystemReady–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthesystemisinstateready.Forexample,theAxisproductcan

detectthesystemstateandsendanoticationwhenthesystemhasstarted.

SelectYestotriggertheactionrulewhentheproductisinstateready.Notethattherulewillonlytriggerwhen

allnecessaryservices,suchastheeventsystem,hasstarted.

•Time

-Recurrence–Triggerstheactionrulebymonitoringtherecurrencesthatyouhavecreated.Youcanusethis

triggertoinitiaterecurringactionssuchassendingnoticationseveryhour.Selectarecurrencepatternorcreate

-UseSchedule–Triggertheruleaccordingtotheselectedschedule.SeeCreateSchedulesonpage20.

•PlayAudioClip–Playsanaudioclipwhentheactionruleistriggered.FromthePlaydrop-downlist,selectanaudioclip

toplaywhentheactionruleistriggered.ToaddnewaudioclipsgotoAudio>AudioClips.

•RunAutoSpeakerTest–SendsanAutoSpeakerTestsignalwhentheactionRuleistriggered.

•SendNotication–Sendanoticationmessagetoarecipient.

•StatusLED–ThestatusLEDcanbesettoashforthedurationoftheactionruleorforasetnumberofseconds.The

statusLEDcanbeusedduringinstallationandcongurationtovisuallyvalidateifthetriggersettingsworkcorrectly.

TosetthestatusLEDashcolor,selectaLEDColorfromthedrop-downlist.

AddRecipients

Theproductcansendmessagestonotifyadministratorsabouteventsandalarms.Butbeforetheproductcansendnotication

messages,youmustdeneoneormorerecipients.Forinformationaboutavailableoptions,seeRecipientTypesonpage19.

Toaddarecipient:

2.Enteradescriptivename.

3.SelectarecipientType.

4.Entertheinformationneededfortherecipienttype.
