port-restrictedconeNATsetups.ButbecausetheIPaddressandportprovidedbytheTURNserverarethoseoftheTURNserver

itself,itworkslikeacarrierthatforwardsinformationtoandfromtheclient.ThismeansthatwhileTURNserversarereliable,

theysometimescauseabitoflatency.

TousetheTURNprotocolforNATtraversal,selectEnableTURN.ThentheaddressoftheTURNserver,theusernameandpassword.

TheAccountSettingspagealsoincludesanaccountlistthatshowsanoverviewoftheSIPaccountsettings,including:

•SIPaddress.SeealsoAboutSIPAddressesonpage16.

•Transportmode.SeealsoTransportSettingsonpage15.

•Default.SeealsoAccountInformationonpage15.

•Registrationstatus.SeeRegistrationStatusonpage14.

RegistrationStatus

Theaccountstatusisindicatedwithdotsindifferentcolors.Formoredetailedinformationaboutanaccount’sstatus,hoverthe

mousepointeroverthestatusdotorselecttheaccountintheaccountlistandclickModify.

SIPdisabled–SIPisdisabled.

Accountnotregistered–TheSIPaccountisnotregisteredwithaPBX.

Provisional–Theproductistryingtoregistertheaccount.

Redirection–Theaccountoraddressneedstoberedirected.

Successful–TheaccounthassuccessfullyregisteredwiththeSIPregistrar.

Failure–Thereisaproblemwiththeaccount,suchastheaccountcredentialsarewrong,authorizationfailed,or

therequestwasbad.

CreateorEditAccounts

TosetupaSIPaccount:

1.GotoSetup>VoIP>AccountSettings.

2.ClickAdd.

3.Entertheaccountdetails.
