TosetuptheAxisproduct,gotoAudio>AudioSettings.
AutoSpeakerTest
TheAutoSpeakerTestisawaytoverifythatthespeakerisworkingfromaremotelocation.Atesttoneisplayedinthespeakerand
thetesttoneismeasuredbytheonboardmicrophonetoensurethatthespeakersoundsasintended.
TheAutoSpeakerTestmustbecalibratedduringrsttimeuse.TocalibratetheAxisproductandrunanAutoSpeakerTest,follow
theinstructionsbelow:
1.GotoSetup>Audio>AudioSettings.
2.ClickCalibratetocalibrateAxisproductandruntherstAutoSpeakerTest.
ItisalsopossibletoruntheAutoSpeakerTestbypressingthecontrolbutton.SeeHardwareOverviewonpage6.
OncetheAxisproductiscalibrated,theAutoSpeakerTestcanberunatanytime:
1.GotoSetup>Audio>AudioSettings.
2.ClickTesttoruntheAutoSpeakerTest.
TosetuptheAutoSpeakerTestasanactionrule,seeSetUpActionRulesonpage18.
AudioModes
TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:
Fullduplex-Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.Thereis
noechocancellation.
Half-duplex-AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.
Simplex—Speakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproduct.Thisisthedefaultaudiomode.
Simplex—Microphoneonly-AudiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromtheAxisproducttooneormoreclients.
Tosettheaudiomode,gotoAudio>AudioSettingsandselectthedesiredmodefromtheAudiomodedrop-downlist.
AudioOutput
ConguretheaudiooutputsettingsunderAudio>AudioSettings.
Outputgain-Movetheslidertoadjustthevolumeoftheaudiooutput.Tomutethesound,movetheslidertotheleftend
oftheslider.
