Installing the StorPoint CD
Stage 1 - Connecting the StorPoint CD to the Network
Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power.
2. Connect your StorPoint CD to the network using the appropriate network connector, i.e.
RJ-45 for 100baseTX and 10baseT.
3. Switch on the tower.
The StorPoint CD LED indicators will flash during power up and self test. When the Status
indicator stops flashing and turns solid green, the StorPoint CD is ready for use.
Note:
If your StorPoint CD is not already installed in a tower, refer to the “AXIS StorPoint CD E100
User’s Manual, Appendix D - Tower and Drive Installation”.
