PrimaryDNS = 0.0.0.0 The IP address of the primary DNS server. Used for identifying
computers with names instead of IP addresses.
SecondaryDNS = 0.0.0.0 The IP address of the secondary DNS server, should the primary
DNS server be unavailable or disconnected.
NTPServer = Name or IP address for the NTP server.
EnableWINS = no Enables WINS over NetBIOS/TCP/IP.
PrimaryWINSserver = 0.0.0.0 The IP address of the primary WINS server.
SecondaryWINSserver = 0.0.0.0 The IP address of the secondary WINS server, if required.
ProtectIP = no Protects StorPoint CD from changing the IP address using the ARP
or Web browser method. Default is no, which allows the IP
address to be set within 30 minutes from restart.
SLPDirectoryAgent1 = auto The IP address or DNS name of an SLP directory agent.
SLPDirectoryAgent2 = auto The IP address or DNS name of an SLP directory agent.
SLPScopeList = DEFAULT The SLP scope to which StorPoint CD belongs. SLP scopes are
used for collecting services into logical or administrative groups.
Specify the scope names in a list separated by commas, i.e.
scope1,scoper2,scope3... The default value DEFAULT means that no
specific scope will be configured.
[HTTP]
HTTPEnable = yes Enables HTTP. Set to no to restrict users from accessing the
CD-ROMs from a Web browser.
EnableMediaAccess = yes Enables access to the inserted discs. When set to no, only
administration is available from HTTP.
ExternalLink = Specifies the URL to a customized link, e.g. to your company’s Web
site. The link will be available from the StorPoint CD Web
interface.
ExternalImage = Specifies the URL to the image that will indicate the customized
external link.
[SMB]
SMBEnable = yes Enables SMB.
ServerName = The server name in the SMB environment. Default is AXIS<nnnnnn>
where nnnnnn are the last six digits of the serial number.
ServerPassword = pass The Supervisor, Administrator or Root user password used for
basically all protocols; i.e. HTTP, NetWare bindery, SMB user-level,
SNMP and FTP. Once written into the configuration file, the
password will not be shown but replaced with eight *’s,
representing the password.
Domain/GroupName = Name of the StorPoint CD workgroup in SMB. If not specified,
StorPoint CD will appear in the workgroup that comes first in
alphabetical order.
SecurityMode = shareLevel Specifies the security mode used in SMB: userLevel or shareLevel.
NTDomainInstallation = no Set to yes when you want to install StorPoint CD in an NT domain.
EnableNBT = yes Enables SMB over NetBIOS/TCP/IP.
NBTscopeID = Defines the NetBIOS scope to which StorPoint CD belongs.
EnableNetBEUI = yes Enables SMB over NetBIOS/NetBEUI.
[NFS]
NFSEnable = yes Enables NFS.
DefaultUid = -2 Default user id to be used when authenticating PCNFSD clients.
Disable by setting the parameter to 0 (zero).
PCNFSDAuthentServer = 0.0.0.0 The IP address of the PCNFSD authentication server used for
authenitcating PCNFSD clients. The default 0.0.0.0 disables the
function.
ExportVolumes = yes Enables export of each new disc inserted as a mount point. If you
restore the factory default settings, all the currently inserted discs
will be exported.
LowerNonCase = yes Set to yes to displays non-case sensitive file systems in lower case.
[SNMP]
GetCommunityName = public Specifies the community that has read only access to all supported
SNMP objects except writeCommunity, SupervisorPassword and
ftpPassword. It corresponds to the readCommunity SNMP object.
