Verifying the
communication
You can verify the communication between the MVS system and the
AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e by pinging the print server from the MVS
system. A successful ping indicates that the MVS system can
communicate with the AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e.
From an TSO session, enter the following command:

If the ping is not successful make sure the AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e is
configured according to the instructions in Setting the IP address,
on page 24 and in Configuring the AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e, on
page 71. If these items are all in order, consult your TCP/IP network
administrator.
TSO PING <IP_address>
The IP address is the IP address of the AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e.
ping <IP_address>
The IP address is the IP address of the AXIS 5570e/AXIS 5670e.
