System Options
System Log - Provides information about system events.
Access Log - Lists all failed attempts to access the pro duct. The Access Lo g can also be congured to l ist all connections to the
product (see below).
Server Report - Provides information about the prod uct status in a popup window. The Access Log is a utomatically included
in the Server Report.
Parameter List - Shows the product's parameters and their current settings. This may prove useful when troubleshooting or
when contacting Axis Support.
Connection List - Lists all clients that are currently accessing media stre ams.
Crash Report - Gene rate s an archive with debugging information. The report takes several minutes to generate.
The log levels for the System Log and the Access Log a re set under System Options > Support > Logs & Reports > Conguration.
The Access Log can be congured to list all connections to the product (select C ritica l, Warnings & Info). If required, a differ ent log
level can be us ed when sending emails.
Advanced
Scripting
Scripting allows e xperienced users to customi z e and use their own scripts.
Caution
Improper use may cause unexpected behavior and lo ss of contact with the Axis product.
Axis strongly rec
ommends that you do not use this function unless you under stand the consequences. Axis Support does not provide
assistance for problems with customized scripts.
To open the Script Editor, go to System Options > Advanced > Scripting. It is recommend ed to create a backup le before
customizing the scripts. If a script causes problems, reset the product to its f actory default settings, see page 47.
