If you still have a problem, you will qualify for the More than a
minute program which will give you a gift for a registered installation
that requires more than a few minutes. If this fails, please contact your
reseller or check the FAQ for more help.
Symptoms Possible causes Remedial actions
Bad snapshot images. Display configured incor-
rectly.
Within Display Properties, configure your display to show at
least 65'000 colors, i.e. at least 16-bit.
Using only 16 or 256 colors on your computer will produce
dithering artifacts in the image.
Cannot access the
modem connected to the
serial port of the AXIS
240.
• Modem not set for
RTS/CTS
• Local echo not
disabled
1. Ensure that the modem is set for RTS/CTS serial
communication. For US Robotics modems, you do this
using the command
AT&I1.
2. Disable Local echo mode using the command ATE0.
3. Save the changes in the NVRAM of the modem using the
command
AT&W.
