Preset Position Page
You can define up to 10 camera positions on the Configuration -
Preset Position page. Click Preset Position at the top of the
Configuration page.
The following is a description of the Preset Position parameters:

The preset position can also be entered as a CGI parameter directly in
your URL. See page 59 for more information.
Viewing Angle Page
You can define restrictions for the movements and zoom of your
cameras on the Configuration - Viewing Angle page. Click Viewing
Angle at the top of the Configuration page.
Check the Disable Viewing Angles box to disable the viewing angles
for all connected camera sources.
The following is a description of the Viewing Angle parameters:
Parameter name Description
Position You can select an entry in the dropdown list. The AXIS 240
allows you to define 10 different camera positions. These
positions can be used from the Pan/Tilt Control page for
directing a camera to a predefined position.
New Name Name for the selected position
Source The camera input source. Note that the camera must be
connected to a Pan/Tilt device.
Pan,
Tilt
The desired pan and tilt value in degrees relative to the home
position. The valid range depends on the connected Pan/Tilt
device.
Zoom The desired zoom value in the range 1-999, where 1
corresponds to wide and 999 corresponds to tele.
Parameter name Description
Source The camera input source.
Top,
Bottom,
Left,
Right
Specify end positions for all the movement directions. These
restrictions will assure that the swing of the camera will be
kept within certain bounds. The values are specified in
degrees and the valid range depends on the connected
Pan/Tilt device.Click Get Current to retrieve the value of the
current camera position. The values are specified in degrees
and the valid range depends on the connected Pan/Tilt
device.
Max Zoom,
Min Zoom
Restrictions for the camera zoom. The valid range is 1-999,
where 1 corresponds to wide and 999 corresponds to tele.
