. The following
options are available:
•
Touch and hold to add a 2-second pause to the number
you’ve entered.
•
Touch and hold before entering an international number.
Inserts “
+
” at the beginning of the number you are entering.
The “
+
” is automatically replace with the “
011
” international
number dialing code after you touch .
•
Touch and hold to enable/disable Silent mode.
•
Touch to launch S Voice and vocally dial numbers and
Contacts. (For more information, refer to
“Making Calls
using S Voice”
on page 33.)

To dial a number, say “
Dial
” then say the digits of the number.

To dial a Contact, say “
Call
” then say the name of the Contact.
•
Touch
Menu
to access the following additional
options:

Send message
: Lets you send a text or multimedia message
to the number you’ve entered by launching the
New message
screen with the number you’ve entered populating the
To
field.

Add to Contacts
: Save the number you’ve entered to a new or
existing Contact entry.

Speed dial setting
: Assign a Speed dial number to the number
you’ve entered.

Add 2-sec pause
: Insert a 2-second pause in the number
you’ve entered.

Add wait
: Insert a Wait pause in the number you’ve entered, to
pause dialing and wait for additional input from you.
–
Call settings
: Launches the
Call settings
menu. (For more
information, refer to
“Call settings”
on page 39.)
