WHAT IS SATA RAID FUNCTION?
Introduction
ICH7R supports the SATA RAID function that allows you to combine
four SATA-II disk drives into RAID volume configurations. The RAID
configurations help you increase disk access speed (RAID0), or
withstand a single disk drive failure (RAID1 or RAID5) and thus protect
your data.
Main features of ICH8DO RAID functionalities are listed as follows:
