2.4.3 USB Connectors (CN8 and CN9)
The CN8 and CN9 are USB connectors carrying USB port 6 and 7 and USB port 4 and 5,
respectively. They are for installing versatile USB 2.0 compliant interface peripherals.
These connectors are designed with +5V level standby power which can provide power
when system is in suspend mode. Note that the power signal on CN9 can also be set to
system power (see section 2.3.2).
CN8/CN9
2.4.4 LAN and USB Connectors (CN10 and CN11)
The board comes with two high performance plug and play ethernet interfaces (RJ-45)
which are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3 standard. Connection can be established
by plugging one end of the ethernet cable into this RJ-45 connector and the other end to
a 1000/100/10-Base-T hub.
The Universal Serial Bus (compliant with USB 3.0 (5Gb/s)) connectors on the rear I/O
are for installing USB peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, scanner, etc. Note that the
CN10 carries LAN1, USB 3.0 port 2 and 3 signals while CN11 carries LAN2, USB 3.0
port 0 and 1 signals.
