HARDWARE DESCRIPTION
3.1 Microprocessors
The EP850 Series supports Intel
®
Core
TM
2 Duo and C-M Penryn
processors, which make your system operated under Windows
2000/XP and Linux environments. The system performance depends
on the microprocessor. Make sure all correct settings are arranged for
your installed microprocessor to prevent the CPU from damages.
3.2 BIOS
The EP850 Series uses American Megatrends BIOS with 8Mbit SPI
Flash, DMI, Plug and Play.
3.3 System Memory
The EP850 Series industrial CPU card supports one 204-pin DDR3
SO-DIMM socket for a maximum memory of 4GB DDR3 SDRAMs. The
memory module can come in sizes of 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB,
1GB and 2GB.
