4. Turn the printer on its rear wall and loosen and remove the #8 thread-cutting screw on
the bottom of the printer.
Go slowly to preserve the screw hole.
5. Turn the printer back over so it is right side up.
Caution: Keep your hands away from the thermal printhead. Touching the printhead will
smudge it causing the print to degrade.
6. Lift the front end of the assembly out of the cabinet by pushing on and lifting out the
front of the print mechanism.
