PRODUCT SUMMARY
The Axicon 6500 series comprises CCD based verier
hardware and application software, conforming to the
latest ISO/ANSI print quality standards (ANSI x3.182,
EN1635 and ISO/IEC15416-1). Our equipment has been
independently tested and conforms to ISO/IEC15426-1.
The Axicon 6500 series is designed for all barcodes where
a 5, 6, 10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory (such as EAN
8 & 13, UPC A & E, UCC/EAN-128 and ITF-14), up to
125mm width including light margins. The simple to use
design reduces user error and eliminates product damage
whilst providing the highest level of accuracy achievable
for verication.
Simply install the software on your computer, plug in the
verier and you can be condent that your barcodes are
being checked to the highest standards.
Exclusive software upgrade features including .csv le
saving and the additional ScanDB software (spreadsheet
reporting function), Application Identier (AI) Data Content
Checker and Product Look-Up, can either be supplied as
part of the package or as a eld upgrade to the standard
software.
The Axicon Verier, when used in conjunction with our
accurately produced calibration sheet, can form an integral
part of your ISO 9000 quality control procedures.

Axicon 6515: includes
Product Look-up Option:
links the software to a database providing a description of
the product that the barcode should relate to as well as the
quality control information.
AI Checker: (UCC/EAN-128 and RSS):
gives the user descriptions of the application identiers
used and then validates the information, checking for
possible structure and content errors (e.g. date errors,
check digit errors, incorrect eld lengths etc.).
.csv File Saving:
enables veried data to be stored as a .csv le, enabling
the user to analyze their results using Excel, Lotus or any
similar spreadsheet program. The system can be set to
record all data automatically if required.
