RF exposure conditions
FEATURES
● Worldwide geolocation Sigfox* and Wifi
● Light sensor (could be used to detect a container opening)
● Temperature measurement
● Battery level monitoring
● Complex motion pattern detection :
○ Crane up / down movements (validation pending)
○ Take off and landing detection
○ Or any other event that can be characterized
*depending on Sigfox Network coverage
BEHAVIOR
DATA
A frame can be sent :
- When a motion pattern is detected
- When a sensor event is detected (temperature, light, pressure, low battery, ...)
- At regular intervals as a “location” frame. (configurable via Downlink)
- When the device moves and then stops (these settings are configurable via Downlink)
- etc...
MONARCH
Monarch beacon allows to detect Sigfox zone (RCZ) in the world in order to adapt the
radiocommunication means. A scan beacon can be done at regular intervals, after a motion pattern
or any event detected by the sensors. The listening period can last up to 5 minutes. If the device does
not detect a beacon for many days in a row, it stops transmitting frame as it may be in the wrong RCZ.
WIFI LOCATION
A passive wifi scan is performed to detect MAC addresses in the surrounding area. These addresses
are sent via Sigfox frames to Axible backend, which requests a location to specialized APIs (Google,
Here...).
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
INSTALLATION
The back of the tracker must be magnetized on a metal surface, at a maximum height of 1.80 meters
(no part above 1.80 meters). The orientation of the tracker must always be as shown on the sticker.
BATTERY
If the battery is low, you must not try to replace the battery by yourself, you must send the device
back to Axible Technologies for battery replacement.
According to the safety instructions do not open the case to try to measure the battery voltage.
