enter the Add new name submenu. Otherwise it will follow the default setting in
the Save nos. to and don’t give you the option.
(3) There have options: <NAME>, <SET GROUP>and three< NUMBER> in the Add
new name submenu.
¾ NAME: input the name belongs to the phone number.
¾ SET GROUP: select the group you want to classify (no group, Family, Friends,
Business, Colleague, VIP, and Society in order).
¾ NUMBER: input the telephone number you want to add. You can input up to 3
phone numbers related to one name and select one phone type for every name
(phone, home, office, fax type and so on). They have corresponded icon for each
one, just use or key to select a suit one.
5.1.3 Settings
(1) Scroll or key to find out Settings in the phone book menu then press the left
soft key.
(2) When in the Settings menu to select what you want to operate by pressing or
key, then press the left soft key to access the menu interface. The menu
options are as follows:
¾ Edit Groups sub-menu has two options, Group Filters and Group Ring Tones.
In the Group Filters, check the groups. If in the symbol- before the group
is empty that denotes its not in the scope of searching, Else in the scope of
searching . Press the right soft key to exit.
Group Tones distribute different ring type for different group. You can
estimate which group the incoming call belongs to rapidly before answer the
call.
¾ Save nos. to sub-menu have three submenus: SIM card, Choice, Phone
memory. If Choice is selected you have an option to store information in Phone
or SIM Card.
¾ Used space sub-menu you could check the stored information about the SIM
card, phone and speed-dial. As the storage capacity of SIM card depends on the
card type, the phone could accommodate up to 200 records and the speed-dial
up to 10 records.
¾ Speed dial list sub-menu you could view the speed dial number.
5.2 Service Messages

You can use this menu item to create a new message and send it out. Access
