5.5 Operation Mode Class-A or Class-B
WARNING! It is required to register Class B boosters with the proper authorities in your
area.
The Booster can be configured to operate in either Class A (filter width of up to and including 75Khz) or
Class B (filter width greater than 75Khz).
This section describes how to do the following:
• View the operation mode;
• Modify the operation mode;
• Effect of the operation mode on the configuration procedure.
5.5.1 Viewing the Operation Mode
The Booster operation mode (Class A or Class B) is displayed in the Band Info tab (in addition to other
parameters).
To view the operation mode
From the left pane, select the 700-800 item and click the Band Info tab.
The operation mode is indicated by the type of available filters:
• Class A operation mode – displays support for
only
Narrowband Filters 12.5 – 75KHz
• Class B operation mode – displays support for
both
