• Click Choose File and browse for the new file. The new file name will be displayed.
• Click Upload File(s), and wait to the file to be loaded.
3. Burn the file into the NE:
• Click Burn the NE button.
• Wait for several minutes for the burning process to complete. Upon successful completion, the
following type of text will be displayed:

NOTE: If, during the Burning process, communication with the unit was lost, the upgrade process will
continue all the same. Until the upgrade process is complete, any attempts to login to the unit will
invoke the message “Can’t perform set. The system is in Software Upgrade mode.

4. Verify the software version has been updated, by clicking the
Band
item in the left pane and selecting
the Band Info tab.
