1 Introduction
The Axell D-CSR 3302 is a Channel Selective off-air booster. It provides quick, cost-
effective and secure radio coverage in any VHF network. The Base Station signal is
acquired via Donor antennas and transmitted over the designated indoor coverage area via
Service antennas or LCX (Radiating Cables)
The Repeater is remotely managed via a modem and is used for in-building coverage and
can also be used to provide coverage in shorter tunnels. (Coverage for longer channels is
achieved using fiber-fed repeaters.)

1.1 Features and Capabilities
Frequency range 150 - 174MHz
Composite downlink output power:
D-CSR 3302: +33dBm (for USA and FCC spurious limits)
Channel selective mode:
Up to 8 channels with dedicated output power and filter settings
Channel width:
o D-CSR 3302: 15kHz or 30kHz (wider options for low delay)
IP65 wallmounted unit
Remote commissioning and monitoring:
Via AEM
SNMP v1/v2c support
Intuitive Web-GUI for local and remote setup and commissioning
Remotely upgradeable for Future Challenges
Dynamic ALC Time-slot based ALC
Remote management via DataCall (PSTN/GSM), GPRS/GSM and/or Ethernet (model
dependent)
1.2 Rechargeable Battery Pack
In the event of a power disruption this battery will supply the modem and the Control Module
with power for enough time so the repeater can send out an alarm.
NOTE: The battery should be changed every five years, according to instructions given in section 9.5.
