6. INSTALLATION
6.1 Initial Installation Record
When this equipment is initially commissioned, please use the equipment set-up record sheet
in Appendix A. This will help both the installation personnel and AFL should these figures
be needed for future reference or diagnosis.
Installation will be a matter of securing each shelf into its appropriate place in the rack
cabinet, connecting all the cables (RF, Antennas, DC and alarm ) to their correct
ports/connectors and system testing (at the customer’s discretion) to prove the original
specification. Power should not be applied until all connections have been double-checked
and verified.
Refer to the system drawing(s) in section 4. for cabling details.
