This field is used to enable or disable the APIC(Advanced Programmable Interrupt
Controller). Due to compliance with PC2004 design guide, the system is able to run in
APIC mode. Enabling APIC mode will expand available IRQ resources for the system.
Settings:[Enabled] and [disabled].
MPS Version Control For OS
This field allows you to select which MPS(Multi-Processor Specification) version to be used
for the operating system. You need to select the MPS version supported by your operating
system. To find out which version to use, Consult the vendor of your operating system.
Settings:[1.4],[1.1] .
OS Select For DRAM > 64MB
Allows OS2
®
to be used with >64MB or DRAM. Settings are Non-OS/2 (default) and OS2.
Set to OS/2 if using more than 64MB and running OS/2.
Small Logo (EPA) Show
The selection is for you to choose the EPA small logo to show or not.
3-6 Advanced Chipset Features
The Advanced Chipset Features Setup option is used to change the values of the chipset
registers. These registers control most of the system options in the computer.
