REMARK
When the Wifi connection is established and the Ethernet cable
unplugged, the CAMIP21 camera will reboot. Reconnection will take
several minutes. Please relaunch the app when the green signal lights.
If your CAMIP21 camera fails to connect to the router, please hold the
reset button on the camera pressed for 5 seconds to reset the system.
7.11 Sensitivity Settings
Detection Mode
PIR: hardware-based biomass detection
SOFTWARE: advance software analysis to enhance PIR accuracy
Motion Detection (only when SOFTWARE detection mode is enabled)
Please set the sensitivity level for the motion detection according to your needs:
HIGH: suitable for detecting smaller objects within 5 to 6 meters
LOW: suitable for detecting larger objects within 3 to 5 meters
7.12 E-Mail Settings
The e-mail settings allow the configuration of the e-mail environment, e-mail account and password. A
gmail account is suggested.
Gmail Settings (suggested)
SMTP server smtp.gmail.com Enter the gmail SMTP server
SMTP port 465 Enter the SMTP port 465
User name xxx@gmail.com Enter your e-mail address
Password xxxxxxxx Enter the password for this gmail account
E-mail to xxx@gmail.com Enter the recipient’s e-mail address
7.13 SD Card Settings
Formatting the SD card will erase all data stored on the card. Be very careful: once erased, data cannot
be retrieved! For security reasons, please make a back-up of your files before formatting the SD card.
REMARK
We recommend using a Class 10 memory card for best results. A
memory card with lower specifications will decrease recording and
playback efficiency.
During formatting, all recording and viewing will stop until the
formatting process is completed.
We recommend formatting your memory card from time to time to
ensure best results.
Overwriting the SD Card
This function will overwrite the oldest recorded files when the memory card is full.
