7 OPTION: MAGIC TH6 KEYPAD

The optional MAGIC TH6 Keypad can be used for simple system control if no

PC is available. MAGIC TH6 provides two RS232 interfaces for the connection

of external Keypads so that two workplaces can be implemented.

• RS232/KEYPAD 1 interface

• RS232/KEYPAD 2 interface

NOTE

RS232 interface 1 is always configured for the connection of an external key-

pad with the following parameters 9,600 bit per second, 8 data bits, no parity

and cannot be changed.

RS232 interface 2 can be configured for the connection of an external keypad

or a PC. To use the keypad with the MAGIC TH6 via RS232 interface 2, you

must set the parameters for the RS232 interface to 9600 Baud, no parity. If you

use the QuickMenu function you reach the settings of the RS232 parameters

directly via the key sequence
