5.6.4.2.9 VLAN
In case of using a VLAN for your VoIP network you can enable the VLAN tag-
ging of the system under System Settings → VLAN.

You can configure the VLAN settings separately for
– PC Control & PRETALK Streaming and
– VoIP
You need to enter the TPID (tagging) as well as the Priority and the VLAN ID
(VID (12-Bit)).
TIP
In case of using a VLAN for your VoIP telephone network, you should select
the 802.1Q Tag under TPID and Priority 6 (VOICE) for VoIP. The correct
VLAN ID is managed by your network administrator. Please ask him for de-
tails.
NOTE
If you configure wrong settings you will lose the connection to the system. In
this case you can reset your VLAN configuration via the front panel of the
system.
