7.3 Configuration of the COM-Port
To configure the system, first the serial connection between PC and system
has first to be established.
In case of a faulty connection between the PC and the system the following er-
ror message appears after a short time:

To rectify the fault, the correct interface has to be chosen.
From the Configuration menu, select the COM Port submenu.

Adjust the Port, which is connected to your PC. All other parameters, for ex-
ample baud rates cannot be changed. After pressing the OK button, the error
message should disappear, otherwise please check the cabling and the chosen
COM port.
