How to change your PIN code

NOTE: If the alarm is armed the siren will sound when you open the

door. You can use the siren key to turn the siren off before starting

emergency disarm so it does not make a noise. (This does not turn

“off” the alarm, it only silences the siren.)

This procedure will override the system whether it is armed or

auto-immobilised.

1. Turn the ignition on and then off an equal number of times to the

ﬁrst PIN code digit.

2. Wait for two seconds (the indicators will ﬂash once in auto-im-

moblise mode).

3. Now turn the ignition on then off an equal number of times to the

second PIN code digit.

4. The system will now disarm. You must start the car within 38

seconds or the system will automatically rearm.

NOTE: If you turn the ignition off for more than 38 seconds you will

have to repeat emergency disarm every time you wish to start the car.

1. Open the drivers door then turn the ignition on.

2. Push the button on the remote 14 times. The dash LED will

ﬂash and the siren will chirp each time you push the button.

3. Turn the ignition off. The indicators will ﬂash once.

4. Turn the ignition on then off anywhere from 3 to 255 times. i.e. 11

times. You have now set the ﬁrst PIN code digit.

5. Wait for the indicators to ﬂash once.

6. Now turn the ignition on then off anywhere from 3 to 255 times. i.e.

36 times. You have now set the second PIN code digit.

7. Wait for the indicators to ﬂash once.

8. You have now set the PIN to (11)(36).

9. Record your new PIN code on the PIN code card and make sure you

carry it with you. This is the only record of your PIN code.
