palettes to (temporarily) remove a time value. Times set to on in the
programmer can be merged into cues or palettes to restore time
values that had previously been turned off.
While setting time values in the programmer it is possible to 'try'
them out as you go. This can be accessed at any time by shift+TIME
or double-tap TIME. You can even temporarily toggle times off and on
while in the programmer and test them with and without using the try
cue function.
There is a new toggle in clear options to [maintain cue times] or
[clear cue times] (default). [Clear cue times] will remove all times
from the programmer on clear. [Maintain cue times] will leave any
times in programmer after clear. It is also now possible to bring times
into the programmer from a cue by using include and, when using
advanced include, there is a new softkey to toggle between [ignore
cue times] and [include cue times] (default). Additionally all mask
menus now have a 'time' flag that can be used to include or exclude
times where appropriate. Finally there are new context menu options
in Channel Grid, Playback View and Cue View/Times to show or hide
time palette references where applicable.
Time Palettes: It is now possible to record times in palettes. These
can be shared or normal and can contain playback times and fixture
attribute times.
Where cues are recorded using a time palette updating the palette
time will update the cue time. If a palette contains attribute values as
well as times it is possible to recall the palette using it's times. This
function is enabled/disabled in palette key profiles as [Palette is fired
with its times]/[Palette is fired ignoring its times]. Default is to fire
without times. In either case if a time is entered manually it will
always override the palettes internal time.
@ Menus: The @ buttons in relevant consoles now open the Adjust
Attribute Value menu for the connected attribute (on the Tiger Touch
the three buttons between the wheels now function as @ buttons).
This menu is also accessible by clicking on a cell in the channel grid
and by touching the center of a connected attribute in the wheel
view.
The following options are available:
Select Function - Opens a second menu of available functions
for the attribute. When the attribute is a dimmer this menu will
provide shortcuts to 0%,25%,50%,75% and 100%
Touch/Clear - places attribute in programmer in current
state/clear attribute from programmer
Locate - locate selected attribute (does not enter programmer)
Release - release selected attribute
Off - set attribute control off
On - set attribute control on
Freeze/Un-Freeze - Freeze/Un-Freeze selected attribute
Note regarding on and off: These values can be merged into existing
cues or palettes to turn values off and subsequently restore back to
their previous value with on.
