Modular Wiring And Bypass Capability
For installation flexibility, the Liebert GXT2 6000 allows
you to choose from several different wiring configurations
made possible by the use of removable power distribution
boxes that simply plug into the rear of the UPS. The
included box provides terminal blocks for hardwired input
and output connections. An optional hardwire version that
includes a maintenance bypass switch is also available.
In cases where the ease of plug-and-play power
connections is desired, optional versions of the power
distribution box convert the Liebert GXT2 6000 to a
cord-type input with receptacles for output distribution.
The input plug is an L14-30, and various combinations of
output receptacles are available as described in the
specification section at the end of the brochure. This
distribution box also provides maintenance bypass
capability.
Patented Feature Enhances Output
Power Quality
The Liebert GXT2 6000 includes a patented output
neutral bonding feature designed to handle a condition
that results from compliance to UL 1778 which requires
that input conductors of the UPS (including neutral) be
disconnected from the input source when the UPS is in
battery mode. Disconnection of the input neutral allows
the UPS output neutral to float away from ground
potential. This patented feature provides a method for
maintaining the UPS output neutral to ground bond in
all modes of operation, thereby eliminating any voltage
induced on the UPS output neutral connection.
LIEBERT DELIVERS 6 kVA OF TRUE ON-LINE
POWER IN A COMPACT 4U PACKAGE
Liebert's UPStation
®
GXT2 6000 is the first true online UPS that combines 6 kVA of power capacity, internal batteries and
dual output voltage in a single 4U size cabinet. This makes it an ideal fit in applications where the power requirements are
demanding — but rack space is limited. Designed for use in either rack or tower configurations, the new unit is well suited
for installations such as smaller computer rooms or communications closets.
The Liebert GXT2 6000 offers a unique combination of high level on-line UPS features in an ultra compact package that will be
a perfect fit for a number of applications.
Dual Voltages For Multiple Applications
Application versatility is achieved through the use of a
dual inverter design capable of providing simultaneous
output voltages of 240/120, 208/120, 230/115, 220/110,
or 200/100 VAC. The two 3 kVA inverters have a common
neutral connection. The phase relationship between each
inverter is controlled so that two simultaneous voltages can
be produced. This enables the UPS to power a wide variety
of equipment with different voltages. The input is power
factor corrected to approximately .98.
Wider Input Voltage Window Minimizes
Battery Use
The Liebert GXT2 6000 features a wide input voltage
window that allows the UPS to support the critical load
without having to transfer to battery, extending system
availability for when battery back-up is truly needed.
