Adding an external authentication service
NOTE: Only User Administrators and DSView Administrators may add authentication services.
You may add one or more of the following external authentication services using the
DSView software:
• Active Directory
• LDAP
• Windows NT
To add an Active Directory external authentication service:
1. From the User Authentication Services window, click Add. The Welcome page of the Add
Authentication Service Wizard will appear. Click Next.
2. The Provide Authentication Service Name and Type window will appear.

a. Type a name for the external authentication service.
b. Select Active Directory from the drop-down menu.
c. Click Next.
