Field Description
Administrative Status
Administrative status on this server. Valid values are:
• DSView server not responding - ( This value is valid only when a single plug-in
hasbeen selected.) The DSView software could not obtain plug-in statuson this
server. To examine server status, click the System tab, then DSView Server in
the top navigation bar . If you are on a hub server, click Spoke Servers in the side
navigation bar and then select the appropriate server. If you are on a spoke
server, click HubServer in the side navigation bar. Replication needed - The
plug-in has been added, but replication isrequired before the plug-in can be
used.
• Active - The plug-in is registered and operational. Disabled - The plug-in has
been disabled.
• Not installed - The plug-in hasnot been added to this server. If the DSView soft-
ware can obtain inform ation from the statusservice about thisplug-in (from
other servers w here it isinstalled), the Name field will contain the plug- in’s name.
If the statusservice does not provide this information, the Name field willcontain
the plug-in’s domain and ID.
Oper ationalStatus
Oper ationalstatuson thisserver. Valid valuesare:
• Inactive - The plug-in is not running.
• Active - The plug-in is running.
• Initializing - The plug-in is starting up. Shutting down - T he plug-in is stopping.
• Upgrading - The plug- in isin the upgrade process.
Detailed Operational
Status*
Detailed statusacquired from the plug- in.
Description * Descr iptive in form ation acquir e d from the plug-in.
Languages* Language infor m ation acquired fr om the plug-in.
ApplianceType* Appliance type information acquired from the plug-in.
Vendor * Owning vendor of the plug-in, according to infor mation acquired fr om the plug-in.
*By default, these fieldsare not displayed in the Plug-inswindow. Use the Customize linkto specify which fields
you want to display; see Using the Customize link in windows on page 32. These fieldsare alwaysdisplayed in
the individual plug-ins’ overview windows.
