to which it sends a request packet. If the target node receives the
request packet, it sends back a reply packet.
To use IPXPING, type the following command at the server prompt:
LOAD IPXPING <Enter>
The system displays the New Target window:

The IPXPING New Target window allows you to configure and
perform the PING function.

Field Description
Network Lets you select a target IPX server by entering its IPX address.
Node Lets you select a target IPX server by entering its node number. You must
enter both the IPX address and node number to select the server.
Seconds to pause Lets you specify the number of seconds between each packet transmission.

To start sending request packets, press <Esc>. The sending node
continues to send request packets and collect response time statistics
until you press <Esc> again and exit IPXPING.
Request and reply packets use the same format; each packet contains
the standard IPX header.
To select additional IPX servers, press <Insert>. Enter the IPX address
of the server in the Address field. Press <Esc> to start sending pack-
ets.
